Well since @hanks73340 has a post about his last show of the season in his area, I figured I would create a post about my last show of the season in my area. Thanks for the inspiration Hank. So, here goes. If any of you remember, I posted this post last year https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/last-local-show-with-the-%E2%80%9869-charger-today.279839/, about the last show of the year on a farm we went to with the ‘69 Charger. We unfortunately lost and did not win, but it was still a great day. Well today a year later, we went back to that same show again with our red ‘67 Coronet 500. Mopars were well represented, with about 13 in attendance. In my opinion this show keeps getting bigger and bigger, it seemed to me like there were more cars than last year. I heard the announcer say the car count was at 150. We again, did not win but we were not expecting to because there were some really nice cars there. It was a little breezy but sunny and 60 degrees. They had different trophies, and a different food option this year.

The 383 engine bay of the orange Roadrunner with a nice little display is below, it was one of the cleanest engine bays I seen there….

This was a Duster, with flared fenders and quarter panels. It had Cadillac taillights and a ‘69 Charger pop open fuel cap. We unfortunately do not know what it had for an engine. We thought it was done in the 90s because it was starting to crack.

This Mustang was spectacular inside and out. It was a 4-speed too. My uncle had one like it a long time ago. The engine was painted black, does anyone know why? It was painted black with a gold air cleaner. Someone who was also lookin at it made a joke and said “because it hides the oil leaks better.”

The show was in Trumbull CT. Its a great way to end the show season. They had hayrides last year, but surprisingly not this year though. They got a corn maze though. They also got ice cream from the farms creamery, the farm even has their own bakery with muffins donuts coffee and that type of stuff. Thank you for your compliment on our Coronet also, and I love your daughters car too! Its the 2nd one I’ve seen in that color besides ours. I believe another member has one like both our cars. Our car was painted before we bought it this past March, my stepdad was thinkin about repainting it because theres a couple things he doesn’t like but now he says he will probably just leave it as is. He seems to think, and I tend to agree that its the original QQ1 red color with a little metallic mixed into it. Its a 318 car with factory air conditioning and bucket seats. It was an original Tennessee car.

Thanks for the pics, love the pinto

I didn’t even know they had American flag dice…. ‘Murica! :usflag:. They were inside a 1970 Pontiac Gran Prix. (I also put these in the “show us your red white and blue” thread.)

Don’t particularly care for the color on the car, but I thought the headlights and the custom license plate were cool….
