My tranny case has a very small leak in the bottom of the case (like 3 drops a day) The leak is in the cast iron I am positive about this. I called Brewers about this and he said it was probably porosity in the case and to seal it up from the inside and he has seen it before.
My question is what to seal it up with. I just dropped the case off at the shop to have it cleaned in the caustic tank and magnafluxed just to make sure its not cracked.
What would you all recommend to seal it if is just a pin hole.I remember painting inside of engines with some kind of red stuff back in the day I don't remember what it was called or should I just put some JB weld in side it---anyone got any better ideas
I should have asked Brewers but he seemed very busy getting orders out .
If its a crack I'll toss it but if its a pin hole I am good with just sealing it up.
