When my wife and I were dating, I had the first album on 8 track. By the time III came out we were married. My 8 track player in the car ate a few tapes, sadly Led Zepplin didn't survive.
Way before we met, my honey saw them at the sports arena in San Diego in the mid 70's. The closest I ever got to seeing them was when Celebration Day was in the theaters. We saw them in Hillcrest at a complex there. There was mostly older than us crowd there, duh, using canes/walkers/scooters etc. The theatre barely had the volume going. We could hear the movie next door over ours. It was hilarious to see old coots saying " turn up the volume, its Led Zeppelin" and going out to the lobby to complain about the volume level. They did turn it up. BARELY!
