What I was going to say. Don't want to lose the cans.It sounds like fun, but I wouldn't want to lose the Jerry cans nowadays. 25-35 bucks apiece?
Long ago in a junk yard my buddy and I were looking to buy a replacement straight six Ford for his car. We found a suitable potential candidate and wanted to run it to check it. Wanting some gas, a worker went over to a car laying on its side, tapped on the gas tank, and then hammered a hole in it with an awl. We dove for cover, but the tank merely pissed out gas that the worker put in a quart jug so we could run the engine.Lots of reports of thieves drilling holes in gas tanks to drain them. Plastic tanks not so dangerous. I'm waiting for some idiot to drill a hole in a metal tank.

And to smell semi correctly too.You gotta put some gas in there too to make it look good!
You can actually fire a spark plug in the bottom of a gas tank and nothing will happen - liquid gas doesn't burn. Only gas vapors burn. Do it on the top and it is another story!
And this had "what" to do with the original post???Supposedly Homeland Security is going after people who say the election was stolen and that COVID was a hoax. I'm thinking of putting some bumper stickers that say: TRUMP WON, YOU KNOW IT, WE KNOW IT on some State Police Cruisers.
