Here's ours, as it was back in California, way back before it found its way over this side of the Pond.
This pic is a scan from the book 'Cars of the Sizzling 60's'. Photo was prob taken sometime in the early 80's :icon_scratch:
Still have those original 14" wheel/trim/tires (yes I know the wheels should be black!) but also have a set of later-60's 15x7 steels (other pic below). Currently looking to get a set of early 60's 15" wheels we can fit our correct-year dog-dish caps to, which we'll also get painted body colour.
Would have preferred to get a sedan (post) car than the pillarless hardtop, but we went for this one as it had a complete MW engine (tho not original to the car), as opposed to a 440-based lookalike, as most cars for sale had at the time.
As for stance, we've got the stock MW suspension parts, but the (presumably) Mexican SS springs have sagged over the years, so the ***-end is now a bit lower than in the pics, so we're just about to swap them over for a newer, hopefully better quality pair. Apart from that, the early cars should have a slightly front-up stance, to mimic how they were when raced 'back in the day'. IMHO!
Good luck with your serach DD, hope you get a nice one :icon_thumleft:
