1963 Polara 500 VERT/ 383 push button.

My plans are for a restoration to the same colors, build the 383 to 400 HP, disc brakes, max wedge hood scoop/ I have a second hood and will keep the original scoop free TQs, electronic ignition and Superstock springs.

Just brought it home and its still on the trailer.

Newest 63 Baby

I bought this Red 63 Fury last November 2010 from the 2nd owner who had the car painted, interior redone, and began on the engine/trans when he got cancer and couldn't finish it. The car was originally a 383 car purchased by an "Old Maid" who was a PHD at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg. She owned the car from 1963-2007 and past on. The family sold it to the guy I bought it from. Funny how things work out?

This is my 65 in front of the north Chrysler assembly plant (picture with out the water tower) and the south assembly plant in St. Louis, Mo. The south is now history and the north is being demolished (now 4-4-11). Alot of cool car were born at these two facilities. A lot of good jobs are now gone for good.

My ride back together.

Well I got the cross ram and manifolds all switched around now and have about 40 miles on test run and everything still ok. I am down now to just getting the fuel gauge and the door locks working. And finding the factory radio antenna. Thanks for all help Ive gotton here so far.

Another vote for steelies. Might paint match the wheels too after car gets painted. May even try a Torque Thrust wheel on the front. Way too many other fixes, like gettin' the interior in, before that though.

Mine saw the light of day this weekend for the first time in a long time!

Got a few minor things like battery, shifter, throttle cable bracket and she'll at least be able to move on her own!

I may lower the back a little after seeing it's stance out of the garage....
