Hi, will the shift linkage for a column shift 904 work on a 727 as well? Or is there a difference?
Thanks

The console linkage is the same, so I would suspect the column is as well. One thing I did notice that's different is the speedometer connector. I had a new speedo cable for a 727, and the connector was the wrong size for the 904.

Depends on what year B-Body you are working on. If it is a 66-70 all of the COLUMN SHIFT 904 linkage will not interchange with the 727. The only pieces that interchange are the frame bracket, column rod and trans rod the cross shaft and trans bracket are different for a 727. If you are working on a 71-74 B-Body the pieces for a COLUMN SHIFT auto will interchange except for the trans bracket providing you have the correct 727 lever on the trans you are installing.
