Does anyone know if you can install a lokar shifter in a66 coronet without the trans being pulled out

I have a floor mounted one my 68, I mounted it with the trans in from memory but there was no lines, tail shaft, etc hooked up. Which made for some free space. The hard part will be getting the linkage all set up and adjusted. Might not be fun, but it would be a yes. - Assuming the same floor pan in a 66 to 68

Yes I did it kind of a pain.If anything pull the driveshaft and tranny cross member. Then lower the back of the tranny down a bit. This will help if you have big hands and arms.
