Hi all,
If anyone remembers a car like this from the Ocean County, NJ area let me know. While I have owned this car since 1989 (and currently restoring it) I am looking for information on the car's history prior to me owning it.
I purchased the car in 1989 a block from my house in Jackson, NJ from a guy whose name I think (?) was John. while an F8 green car, someone had painted it a Forest Green color prior to me getting my hands on it. I drove it from 1990-1992 in the area, doing stupid $hit that 18-20 years olds do with a muscle car...
I think - again this is going back 28 years - that he got the car from someone working / stationed at McGuire AFB, 30 minutes away. So not sure if this was always a car local to NJ or it was brought here when someone was transferred to the base.
From what I can decipher from the fender tag (no broadcast sheet found / Lynch Road car) all options point to it being a "Spring Special", with hood stripes, green vinyl top, and V6W Vinyl Stripe
due to privacy laws it seems its hard to track down past owners these days if you havent found anything in the car with their name on it.
