I would hope their quality would be better than an off the shelf pump but now days you never know. A friend was having bleeding over issues and replaced his with an off the shelf Car Quest pump (new not rebuilt) and it put out a tick over 10#. On goes the pressure regulator. It's best to check the pressure to make sure.

FWIW, a capture of a video @ idle after installed a while back......................if you choose to trust a Jegs gauge :steering:.....

Then and Now Auto sells diaphragm and spring kits that will put the pump in the proper psi range. You need kit CK-6903-8, but YOU ALSO NEED TO ASK for pulsator diaphragm 1-46 when you order.

https://www.then-now-auto.com/. See youtube for rebuild videos so you don’t tear the diaphragm. You can also send them the pump and they’ll swap the parts. Cheapest I’ve seen an M6903 new is Rock Auto.

I do have an original 1966 street hemi pump.
I should get it apart and rebuild it for the shelf while parts are still avail

I replaced the pump on my ‘69 383, using a new M6903.
My carb is an Edelbrock 1806.
That was 3 years ago and no issues since.
I did not however ever verify the output is as rated.
