Can any body tell me if they know of any supplier that sells this item. I am looking to buy one not the aluminum one that comes standard. I have been told that the racing folks use them. Thanks in advance.

This race guy uses the stock main seal carrier. It and the bolts that hold it down are the only production parts on the entire motor. Never leaks a drop.

And leave those dumb side seals out,let the seal center itself. Fill those voids with silicone. Leaks will be gone.
 
Yes, I've read on-line that some of the seal housings don't center the seal to the crankshaft
and that's what causes them to leak. Thanks for the tip on leaving the side seals out! Might
just make the difference.
