During my recent physical therapy sessions (knee blew out) I have had two female and two male therapists. The other day during some small talk with one of the girl therapists, I guess the subject of spouses or marriage happened to come up and I did not hesitant to ask her if she was married to a guy or another gal. I don't think she was offended at the question. She said she was married to a guy. Is this going to become a possible daily question for us from here on out? (LOL)

I wouldnt be asking if she was married to either.
I would be more concern about if its a he, she or a she,he that is the therapist. At that point I would know ,I could cure myself .

Not a daily question, unless you phrase the question that way!
I don't know about you but I intend to resist this Wokeass BS.

I think it depends on whether or not you wipe the entire length of your arm against your nose after asking the question.

If someone is helping me feel better, I couldn't care less if its a he, she or trans. Its not contagious !!

True, Its not contagious.
But I refuse to give a rats *** and act like I care, or even acknowledge.

As you would for anyone else. I think that's all they want. They're not looking for attention or approval.

I'm married and have no need to ask anybody about their marital situation at all, I also could care less what someone calls themselves so no for me... Don't care!

I have never asked anyone if they were married. Don’t intend to start.

A conversation with a stranger should follow job interview rules ... you can't ask age, marital, gender, race, religion or political questions. And really, what does it matter !!

Now-a-days being polite or friendly to people seem to offend the person you try to be nice to.
I have given up on even saying "Hello" when you pass. Around here you get scowls and the look of audacity with the thought they are thinking "Who do you think you are speaking to me.'' I still try.

"Buenos Dias" and "Buenas Tardes" are still being employed here in Mexico. Even in the doctor's waiting room, whenever anyone enters the door they greet us and then as a rule, most of the persons already seated respond in kind. Then when someone is called in to the exam, they excuse themselves to the group of strangers by saying "Con Permiso" and the person they are walking in front of responds with "Proprio".
