hi all...am hoping to get a solid recommendation on a shop that would rebuild the master cylinder (manual; drums) for my 70 bee...thoughts?

I just sent mine to the www.therammaninc.com. Very pricey but most of the labor charge comes from having it sleeved.($240.00) there are others that do the same for less. Whitepost.com(195.00).

??? There's nothing to re-building a master, as long as the bore is in decent shape, or even if it needs to be hit with a hone. Just takes a kit.

If it needs to be sleeved, cheaper just to buy a new one, isn't it? Unless that one is a rare bird.

Its also cheaper to buy a brand new Dodge truck then it is to do a complete restoration. It all depends what your looking for. Correct or after market, honed or sleeved...

If you end up needing a good original core, i have some. Message me if interested

Thanks all for all of your input. I agree, pro redo is too pricey. A new one may be in order but I like to OE look...turns out it may not be the MC..but in the future seems like a small hone and rebuild kit make the most sense. Thanks again...have a great summer cruise season.

Yup! Main thing on re-building one of those things is the main bore. Should be in reasonable shape, and just 'freshen the surface'. Water/rust is main thing that makes them un-useable.
