I would like to put power brakes on my 1964 Sport Fury with an automatic transmission. I plan on upgrading to front discs, and dual MC, but I would like to use a factory booster because it is less bulky than the kits.

So, starting from the booster and going back to the brake pedal, what parts are different between a power brake car and a manual brake car?

Would parts off a 65 Fury fit the 64?

If you have a factory booster, next to nothing. It mounts in different holes and connects to the lower hole in the brake pedal arm. Brake switch has an alternate set of holes to work in that lower position.

Not sure if the ‘65 booster is the same. Seems to me it’s ‘64 only.

Oh wait, the black reinforcement plate has the hole lower. You’ll need another one or some material removal.
