Passed away yesterday in Burlington, NC after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by husband Herb, and sons Herb Jr, Mike and David.

Spoke the Herb when he ordered some 727 pans from me not too long ago, mentioned his wife's medical issues then, sad to hear she's been called home.

R.I.P. Mrs. McCandless!

In that same 15 minute phone call he explained how easy it is to swap a 5.7 hemi into my Coronet, down to how far to move the steering box in (3/8"),what year hemi to find, and even what exhaust manifolds to use(2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee)!

His number is on my cubicle wall, may drop him a line and offer my condolences. What an amazing guy to talk to, I was definitely star-struck

As a member of the Long Island Mopar club,I had the honor of meeting her.She was a wonderfull women. I also got to say hello at the All Hemi Reunion in '08.
