So who out there deals in matching door and ignition locks for early B-body cars? I bought a 64 Fury yesterday, and I can't lock the doors. Last three of these cars have all had ign switch replaced, with diff keys for doors and ignition. -Don

Have them rekeyed alike A good lock shop can fix the problem for you!

The doors and ign. are the same, as is the trunk and glove box or console! Is what I meant by keyed alike sorry for the confusion!

Rekeying Mopar door and trunk cylinders is probably one of the easiest lock related jobs there is.

Take one out, carefully take it apart, and figure it out.

IIRC, there is a good writeup with pics on this site.

They might have different key cross sections. A good locksmith will be able to tell and give you some direction. If they are the same check the link it may help for a DYI Bull1TT. Scroll down a bit and PM me if you want more info.

I have a 65 Coronet parts car that has mis-matched ign 'n door locks also. I may follow 2059's lead and try to re-key myself. How hard could it be?

Sounds good to me, got the door panels off already on the parts car. Will pull ign and door locks tomorrow!

Isn't 65 locks the one sided keys? Meaning the blank only has grooves/ slots on one side? I would be tempted to swap out for the newer version 67/68 or newer so blanks are more readily available ones with slot on both sides. Just some thing to consider
