Who here has an A-855 Passon in their Mopar?

Not me!

I spoke to Passon a few weeks ago and he said he had several testing in cars for the last year (about). You have to wonder if the testing revealed some problems and he went back for some fine tweaking.

i called and asked about it waiting list is at least 6-8 months long 360 people on the list. I know the first ones have gone out but no idea how many total. people over on moparts.com are starting to get some but no real world feedback from customers yet.

Not me either but hope to one day, I'll let you guys work the bugs out :)

I was a Keisler "Pioneer. Did not pay off. Agreed. Let others learn from early Passons. Announcing on December of 2010 of the A855 by Passon was a mistake. Underpromise. Overdeliver. That is the best strategy. The opposite was done. Get it done.

I've been trying to tell the people I work with for decades that "over promise, under deliver" is not a good model to keep following.

Good news for those who can't afford one... the price of 833 O/D units should come down.

I talked to a fella. He absolutely loves it and says the craftsmanship on it is very well done. Drives great and Jamie did a very nice job on it as it is a true drop in unit.

Agreed with overpromised and NO delivery. I would like to have sex with some super models but I keep my mouth shut until after it happens then I will tell you about it, (don't hold your breath lol). It's a great idea but if the price of his overdrive gearset for the 833 is any indicator the new trans will be about 6-7 grand, I can buy 2 tremecs for that and only have to do the modifications once.

Hope everybody who buys one enjoys it. Give me your A-833's. My great-grandkids will be driving my cars by the time the break-even point is realized.

Very good point WileE but it's not just the cost saving of fuel. It's about the overall performance AND drive-ability. Dennis H. can tell you about that I think. He drives the hell out of his

I can go with 4.56 and O/D will reduce that to 3.19, that will save me gas and and engine will last much longer and not so much noise inside the car less rev = less wining from wife.

Moparts thread says 45-50 weeks wait if you get on Passon's list now. Wow. Pure excitement here.

Nobody as excited as me to wait a year for a trans? Promised in 2010. That's only 5 years.

I thought you were BANNED over there???
Hey there. It looks like the Passon crashbox is a better, "Clean sheet" design as compared to a Kiesler trans kit that had to be modified to fit an old chassis.

Hello. BOL. Anyone have a Passon 5 speed installed who has driven it yet? Turkey Path choke road in Pennsyltucky.

Thread bump. I have been on the list for years, and I am going to have mine in about a week.
Anyone have one?? Feedback please! Especially 1/4 mile drag race performance comments would be welcome.
