Mike Dunn & IHRA. NHRA dropped him as announcer hehehehe!

Also NHRA is no longer on ESPN/ESPN2. Moved to Fox Sports 1, FS1

IHRA made a good choice too...

I 1st met him IIRC @
Lions or maybe Riverside or maybe or maybe Irwindale
or maybe it was Ontario International Speedway...LOL
or one of the many SoCal tracks, we use to have, he was a SoCal org. boy for decades...

I've always liked Mike Dunn, met him quite a few time over the years,
seen him around tracks all the time when I was growing up too,
he was around the sport since he was in diapers, remember his fathers F/C's well too
we both had a common friend/sponsor Joe Pisano & his co.'s JP1 Venolia Childs & Albert,
he drove F/C for him for a while too...

NHRA's mistake IMO,
we'll see if Tony Pedregon can cut it as a commentator, color guy on FOX SP1

starting tommorrow

Gee,
I always HATE change like that.
What was wrong with Mike Dunn?

Al, what's up?
Was he screwing up on the job?

Noski:eusa_whistle: Mike worked for ESPN. When NHRA moved to Fox,Dunn was Done.
NHRA did not reach out to him so he found another position,,,,,PRESIDENT:glasses13:

When NHRA moves back to regular TV i will be able to watch the races. No pay per view here or will be.

Good for Mike Dunn. I thought he did a great job for NHRA. Its their loss and a good move for Dunn and IHRA. Ron
