Missing windshield wash hardware - 71 GTX

One thing I failed to test when I purchased was the windshield wash functionality. As it turns out, it is completely missing. Car has the correct 2-speed wiper but no washer hardware.

Is it normal to not reinstall windshield wash hardware after a restore? I have seen several other cars of this period where it is also missing.

Would it be difficult to locate this hardware and get it working? Realistically I wouldn't be using the windshield washer but I would like to make this car correct.

What do you guys see?

PS. I assue that on the motor there must be a connection that would control the washer pump. Is this correct? Can you tell me which connector it is on a 71 GTX?

I think most suppliers, year one, classic industries, etc. carry item like this. My 69 charger came with motor only and a few lines no tank and pump. I think it's usual to see without, too bad though. Most cars don't see the dirt and bad weather anymore so some think what is the point of putting it back. Originality maybe! Good luck!
