MOOG ES319L grease fitting thread size

Does anyone know thread size for MOOG ES319L because change my old straight grease fitting to 90 degrees fitting. I tried 1/4"-28 it wouldn't tightening up. So I put my old one back in for now. I couldn't find reliable source for thread size, some say 1/4"-28, 1/4"-18 or 10-32. So I brought 1/4"-28 to try, it just keeps spinning in hole, almost threads were too small. I'm just trying to get some spares if fitting ball break off.

Some of those are 1/8 npt on the tie rod.
It's common for these to break off on a Jeep.
Redrill and tap to larger size if you need to.
Put a dab of grease on your drill bit to catch
any metal shavings.
