You are buying a Mopar 3438178 Alternator for a mid - 70 application.
This has MATCHING DATE CASTINGS of 11 - 69 front and rear and an assembly date of 02 - 70.
This is an UNTOUCHED ORIGINAL ALTERNATOR that is from a closed hood parts car. This has never been rebuilt and still has the original rear bearing. The pulley spins true and there is no binding. The pulley grooves are nice and what you see is just light surface rust that will clean off fine.
The castings are both EXCELLENT CONDITION and all I did was solvent clean this as I did not want to disturb the original texture of the aluminum. The small wiring "finger" and positive terminal shield are in place and very nice as well.
This would be perfect to send out and have professionally restored for your OEM correct showcar.
This is 249.00 INCLUDING SHIPPING in the CONT USA. Canada and other International shipping would be more.
