Has anyone read the article on page 60 of MA concerning the steering improvement on old Mopers? I called Firm Feel this pm, got the answering machine and they have not called back yet. Wondering if they have started producing these kits yet. My 67 Coronet steers so easy it feels like I dont even have control. Hoping this would help. Dave

I saw that article. Seems like a pretty cool deal (price depending). I wonder how it works with a gusseted K-frame?

Is that the idler arm stabilizer-bearing-gizmo? I read that and thought it would be a pretty nifty addition. Ehrenberg has some pretty good tech-y stuff, I did his PS pump shim deal and, yes, it works.
Like you said, Rev, price depending, it seems like a cool thing.
I'm very much into maximizing whatcha got. Mostly cuz I'm really, really broke.

Light steering easy fix.....

Replacing the pressure regulator valve in your P/S pump with one from a 6 cyl A-body will reduce the line pressure from around 1100 lbs to around 800 lbs. This will increase the road feel in your steering.
It is located in the pump, behind the hex fitting where the pressure line screws in. You may be able to change it out with out removing the pump.

Excellent idea bluefury, I have an old Dart kickin round. Will get right to it. Dave
