Mopar performance cast aluminum valve cover grommets

I have ordered grommet sets twice for the Mopar performance cast aluminum rocker covers. None of the grommet fit anywhere on the covers. Anyone else had this problem? Solution?

Mopar discontinued the right grommet a few years ago.

Keep in mind the boss where they fit is a half inch thick. The channel on those universal Help Section generic grommets is too narrow for them to "plug in" properly.

This grommet and plug kit is still available online, pricey at almost $20 shipped, but they fit.
