Mopar Performance deep Trans pan and extension kit

Hi folks, does anyone know where the plastic white small gasket goes? there is a small o ring that come with the kit for the pick up extension for the filter, the plastic gasket with the tabs? I am not sure of. its purpose. I do not have any local mechanics who know the answer. Instructions or a diagram does not come with the kit.

Never did one, but is it possible it sits on hole in filter to seal against extension?

Is it the same size as the o-ring? If so, it could be a backup ring for the o-ring.

The black o ring fits the extension to bottom of the original filter location. I think it could be for the filter to the extension. The drain plug has its own washer. maybe it is a back-up but it is all together and fits with out it, everything works good, fits tight so that is that. thanks
