We are thinking about going but its 4 hours away for a one day show. Is it worth it? Is there a cruise Saturday night? Swap area any good?

I went last year for the first time. We arrived in town on Saturday afternoon and there was already activity at the fairgrounds. We did cruise around town for the evening as every hotel parking lot was a car show. It was a good time.

The swap is small, but I found things I needed. The show on Sunday was outstanding. An excellent cross section of MOPAR and I thought very well organized. Here is the link to the A12 forum with pictures of the show.

I too have over a 4 hour drive, but will do it again this year if my schedule allows. It is worth the trip.

I was planning on going Sunday and returning Sunday (2 - 2 1/2 hour ride for me), but you're now making me rethink an overnight on Saturday.

hmmmmmmmmmm.................. 3 ish hours.

I've been to the show at three different venues. It was always a decent show but always too damn hot. Yes, it's worth attending but take your own shade.

I'm in. You guys convinced me. Reservations made for Saturday night (Best Western Plus). If you see my Blue Road Runner, say hi. Love to meet any members that show up.

im going to have to get buckets, and change out the bench seat.
way too uncomfortable for a long ride.
had her out for a 3 hour cruise sunday. and me arse was sore and tired.

If the good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise we are gonna try to check this one out. The whole family needs a good Mopar fix. Went to GoodGuys last year. Seen enough camaros and mustangs to last us for a long time. Time for the GOOD stuff!!

Well, we made the trek to the show this year. We checked out Galena,IL on Saturday and the show on Sunday. Even met a member and swapped stories. We had a blast and will go again in the future.

Ranger16 has a sweet Runner!! I sure enjoyed visiting with him and his co-pilot!

I didn't see a single 69 coronet..R/T or Super Bee. No A12 cars either....kinda bummed about those but there was a bit of everything there. I would recommend checking out this show. About 250 cars...threat of rain probably kept a few cars at home but it never did rain.

Had a good time and a nice ride both ways. Car ran flawlessly.
Made some new friends (PP1RT and his family).
P.S.
Thanks for your votes, but they went to peoples choice award. The announcer said they rarely go into the double digits so I thought I had a chance with your 6 votes, but the blue superbird next to me won it (damned thing had to be 4' tall). The black '68 bird on the other side of me won 1st in my class. I was in good company, but no cigar (other than the one I brought).

I will definitely consider it again next year.

Nice Road Runner Ranger 16. It was a nice show and the weather was good all day. Here's a few B Body photos.

Sorry I didn't get to meet you Toolman, maybe next year. You got pictures of the two cars on either side of me that I mentioned.

I missed you to Toolman. Did you have a car there? We didn't bring anything along this year. Maybe another year.

Next time i will have to bring more voters!!!

Oh well it was fun anyway....and that superbird was a rotissery restored 6 pak 4 spd car. Pretty stiff competition....

I screwed up this year with the photos. I usually just walk down the row and take a photo of them all. Sorry I missed you and your car. I remember seeing it. Lots of nice Mopars there for sure.
