hello, I have a 65 Belvedere , original 318 poly car I think. Currently I have a 426 wedge block sitting in the car. I bought the conversion kit from small block to big block everything is bolted up , for some reason the motor sits about an 1 1/2” to the right (passenger side). Any ideas of what I did wrong? Here’s some pics

Nothing. Most Mopar engines are offset to the right. Normal.

I believe it was for steering box clearance. Perfectly normal.

You will appreciate the offset when you put a set of headers on that car

Thank you guys for the responses, I built a 65 satellite about 20 years ago and put a big block in it and just didn’t remember it sitting so crooked.

"In all A,B,E bodies, the engine is offset to the passenger side 1.25". "

How about some pictures as the project progresses?
