1st pic $60
2nd pic $ 135
3rd came with the car
What keeps the mount from slipping if all there is, is a tiny little button. Seems like to me the 3rd pic would work the best. Any thoughts other than Schumachers

i'm not too confident of stock motor mounts, had too many failures in the past. even in my 68 Mustang with 289 managed to rip one up, pulled vacuum hose from booster and had no brakes

The second pic is Dynatech. I thought if the locating dowel went through the hole a little bit more like the 3rd pic then it would prevent the mount from slipping out of position.

Schumacher work good for me since 08.

Mancini sells a set that is stock rubber, but with a bolt through on the drivers side. I used these along with a torque strap on both my cars and am happy with them. The rubber transfers less vibration than the Poly Locs.

hunt2elk... exactly why I didn't want the poly locs

stock rubber for vibration dampening and a torque strap to keep it all in place...

Poly loc mounts.....hands down the best!!! And no, they do not transfer vibration as bad as some people say/think.

That's what I used to think too, until I had one fail. Passenger side on a 335hp motor. Talked to Mike Schumacher about it. He was very good about it even though they were 3 years old. He gave me the choice of a new poly loc, or a set of standard rubber mounts as a warranty replacement. I took the rubber mounts after he told me that they were having some issues with the biscuit style poly locs failing. He was in the process of designing a spool style that will take the place of the biscuit style on our B-bodies. He said the new ones will not come apart. This was last year and I don't think he has the new ones out yet.

My dads 505 and my 5.7 Hemi had/use them without issue. I also don't see how a pass. side mount could fail when it just gets compressed as opposed to the drivers side where it can get pulled apart. But, stranger things have happened.

I used the torque strap as well for added insurance with new stock motor mounts.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. That is why I called Mike. He wanted to see pictures of it and then confirmed it had failed. That is when he told me that I wasn't the first that it had happened to and why he was redesigning the mounts.
