Lucas wiring was OK :lol: only IF
you don't ever drive in the rain, don't need your wipers
you don't need your lights in the dark or
you don't need/use your heater when it's cold or A/C when it's hot
as long as you don't care if all your electrical switches work
only intermittently

I've owned a few British cars if you can't tell :realcrazy:
 
its not the wiring you have to worry about its the switches attached to it :lol:
we have" Lucas specialists "over here all they work on is jags and mg's ,don't you have such an animal over there

Hmmmm..... cars that assist you in building character, then. :poke: One of my cousins had an MG with that character building
set of wiring. We ended up replacing everything in '79 when we swapped in a 273 my uncle had lying around.
