April 1 is the day I bought my Coronet 500 from my brother-in-law in 1980, taking possession of it one year later to the day, as I returned from my first duty station in Alaska.

That's really cool. I wish I would have had the smarts to keep a couple of my cars from the 80's.

Congratulations on 44 years together with that beautiful 66.

(Not the dog. She is only 8)

I hope 'she put out' on the 44th anniversary :poke:

cool to have it that long

I'm going on 19 years with my current 68 RR, Dec 2005 for $6,000
complete running & driving car, a bit rough, very lil' rust, but all there...
I had a couple at the same time, so not much done on it the until after 2007
& coming up on 25 years with my 99 Dakota SLT 4x4,
I bought new off the lot, Nov. 1999
the time fly's

Nice car!

Where in Alaska? I spent a year in King Salmon AK.
Campion AFS, just 10 miles upstream from Galena. It is all gone now, and is the dump for the Town of Galena. What a great duty station is was then!
