Been a new member lurking in the shadows. Got my daughter to help me post some pics of my GTX. I have had it about 6 years, spent about year and a half restoreing it. Randy

Yes, very nice indeed! I'd be interested in seeing your restorations pictures, hint hint! Post 'em!

I have a whole book of pics i took while restoreing the car. When i bought it , it had been sitting for 12 years out west. The motor was locked up, there were about 3 bad paint jobs, trunk rust, 70's interior, and a host of really bad body work. You really get to know a car when you strip , gut, and sand blast the belly of a car. Randy

FK5 exterior with the burnt orange and white interior. I have been told that the interior was a rare combination. I like it a lot better than the full burnt orange interiors. It was one of those strange optioned cars. 440 4 speed, manual steering and brakes, am 8 track, rear window defroster, tick tock tach. I changed it over to power steering because i got tired of fighting it in parking lots. The car had set so long before i got it , that the shift forks in the tranny had turned green and the rear end cover had a permonent stain from the fluid level. Nice combo. T7 and FK5 (for me anyway) are hard to tell apart in pics. Buuutt I took a stab at it:edgy:

Very nice car, great workmanship too!

Yes, original super commando. It still has its original engine, trans, and dana.I replaced a quater and trunk floor, and some other sheet metal. I had a really hard time finding a correct carb( california emisions) for it.Still need to have that rebuilt.Randy
