I just over some kind of sinus infection that pestered me for more than two weeks. First went to the government clinic and paid to saw the MD on staff there (paid $12.50 USD for the visit including meds).

Then I went online to an online expatriates forum (those re-locating to Mexico) to ask for recommendations for a Ear, Nose, Throat doctor to do some follow-up (I've had sinus problems since kindergarten). I chose one of the two recommendations and saw this female specialist a couple of weeks ago. The first consultation was $40.00 USD and she spent about 45 minutes with me (no other staff present). The second consult was a couple of days ago and the doctor spent about 30 minutes with me and I paid $30.00 USD. Going back in another month. She is very thorough, detailed, not-rushed, and has a pleasant bed-side manner (I wish anyway). I have only experienced one morning headache in the last month since using a nose spray and nose canal wash.

My dermatologist is another female doctor and I'm overdue to see her (my every six month appointment was due in April).

When you do the canal wash DO NOT use water straight from the tap, use ONLY distilled water. It is not uncommon to get a deadly infection from bacteria in tap water. Its safe to drink but not for the sinuses. The saline product does not kill the bacteria.
