Neutral Safety Back-Up insulator

Hello,

I finally found the reason for my shifting problem. The plastic Insulator on the shifting mechanism is missing. I found the part from Sonnax 22229-03.
Myquestion: can somebody confirm that it fits my 1969 satellite 318cui/a904?
The description says it's from 1970 on.
Othwise I cannot find one explicit for 1969.

I'd try phone call to A&A Transmission in Indiana first.
