I joined this site a month or so ago and didn't notice this ' welcome wagon ' tab. I've enjoyed conversing with MOPAR folks and learning more about Mopar's by reading some posts here.

My everyday driver is a 2011 Challenger R/T 5.7. I have a 66 Satellite ( 3rd owner ) with 62K original miles on it. I'm removing the numbers matching drive train ( poly 318, 904 auto ) and storing it. I'm going back with a stroked 440, 727 , 8 3/4 3:23. I just re arced the multi leafs and added Monroe shocks . I changed the tire size to 15 " with new Magnum wheels . I also converted from disc to drum due to the 440 addition.

The car has the original paint and interior. I have to show blemishes from wear and tear to people to prove that it is the actual paint and interior. But since I'm doing a motor swap I am going to have the engine bay painted as well as the car just to get it behind me. The color is yellow by the way , and I'm not to keen on yellow , but it is what it is and others have told me to leave the color alone as you don't see that shade too often. The interior is exceptionally clean and unrestored and I intend not to touch it. The color is Citron Green.

My wife is into cars as much as I am and I bought her a Burgundy 76 Dodge Dart Swinger that has factory Rally's, a hopped up 318 ci, 727, factory air, power steering/brakes , vinyl top, super unrestored interior , factory build sheet , and dealers window sticker.

Ok, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hope to talk with y'all about the best all out hard to find, under appreciated cars to ever be built. To each is own, but Mopars from the 50, 60, & 70's are getting harder and harder to find. Therefore, the value in them is increasing and REAL auto enthusiast know a good deal when they see one. They're Camaro's , Vett's , Mustangs on every corner and are boring due to that. Not to insult any owners that have them but that's my two cents on that subject.

well then, a late welcome to FBBO

it's nice to get some background, see who your talking with, what projects they own, photos are always good too etc.

:hello: and welcome to the site and like bud said post some photos we love are car **** here 1 :headbang:

Don't worry about what color somebody else thinks is right. Paint that mother whatever color makes you happy. You'll enjoy it more.

I would love to download pictures of all my Mopars but not sure on how to do it here. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I finally viewed pictures of you project. You seem to have a firm knowledge of how to restore a car and it is looking real good. What color are you going to paint it and are you shoving the biggest badest big block you can find in it ? Anyway, the car looks like a killer.

I just saw the pics of your project and it looks awesome ! Are you going to big block it ? Sorry for not replying to your message to me but I have cancer and have been up and down for a few months but am getting all in order now. I learned how to post pics now and have put a few of my Satellite on here . Take a look and tell me what you think. It's for sale too.
