Wife wanted a new SUV and was pushing for a Honda Pilot but ended up loving the New Durango. No pictures yet but will post if anyone is interested.

Did ya get the Hemi or 3.6L?

She has good taste...LOL

My wife wasn't a fan of SUV's until we got a 'loaner' for 2 weeks all the way back in 99. I ordered a 2000 in Sept of 99 and we still have it and she refuses to turn it loose. I like the front ends of the new ones but the back end doesn't do much for me or her.

We bought one new for the wife last year with the 3.6, great vehicle. Took it to Arizona last year and just got back from Texas a few days ago, got 25,000 miles with no problems at all.

picked up this 2014 R/T 5.7 HEMI for my wife 370 HP 8 SPEED AUTO WE LOVE IT can not fix THE SIDEWAYS PHOTO NO MATTER HO I TRY LOL..

Thank goodness you didn't get the honda. That's just 25 extra loser points if you had one.

You towing with that?

We have a HEMI Durango on our short list as well. Time to retire the 300C SRT8!

I want a Challenger, but I have a feeling when we get to the point of buying a new or fairly new car, it's gonna be a Charger or a 300. She wants four doors. For right now, she's gonna have to like the '04 Dakota Quad Cab!

Can you new Durango owners tell me how much room there is behind the 3rd row when the seats are up? The vehicle we have now has absolutely no room behind the 3rd row when both seats are up. I'm talking less than 6 inches. Can you give me an idea of what you can fit behind the 3rd row of seats?

The wife and I refuse to go to a minivan, and something like a Suburban is just too big for her. She doesn't feel confident driving something so large. I would love to talk her into a Durango if the room was there. Thanks guys and good luck with your new Durango.

My wife did not want the Hemi but I sure did. She was concerned with the gas mileage but we did get it with the tow package for the boat. It is rated at 6200 pounds so that is way more than I need for my fishing boat.

It is the same color as Bobo's with a light tan seats/black trim. As far as the back seat it was the best for us and one of the reasons we bought it. The Tahoe was a joke(worst leg room), Pilot was better, and the closest to the Durango was the Explorer.

Ultimately the price was the best for what you were getting. It has everything (but the Hemi) that you would want or at least us. Remote start, heated seats/steering wheel, Bluetooth, 110 plug, USB connections, GPS plus it also had the quietest ride oh and it is also AWD. If I miss any questions sorry and if you have anymore please ask. Oh pictures still to come!!

I do not tow my 65 often however the Durango does tow it with ease and is well within the factory recommended towing use capacity

My wife's 2005 Durango is now mine. 170,000 miles, this thing is great. I'm using it to pull my '66 Satellite & trailer. It works pretty well. Not quite as good for towing as my 127" wheelbase vans but is OK. The Durango is a great driving overall piece.5.7 Hemi has great power & very good MPG.
