Mine needs the same repair. I just haven’t gotten to it yet and I am not a proficient welder. Good luck!

Thank you my friend. The K frame is still in the car. But, it is down for a rod knock that I need to address first (7 years old and I stopped driving it right away).

I'm a little rusty with the arc welder but I think it'll hold.

If you still have access to the areas, add some washers around it for reinforcement.
