New fender expectations

I'm a newbie trying to restore a 69 charger r/t. I ordered a fender from AMD thru summit racing but have had to send it back....twice! The first time, the box was crumpled pretty good and there were various dents, with the headlight area looking like someone hit it with a ball peen hammer a couple of times. I just got the second one today and it too had damage. They ordered me another one today, but no telling how long it will be before I get the next one. Should I expect a perfect fender or should I expect some dings here and there?

I've never bought new sheet metal before but if I'm buying something I expect it not to be damaged.

You should be getting a good piece with no dents! A.M.D. doesn't ship bad parts! Sounds like the freight co. is screwing them up in transit! Call A.M.D direct and tell them what's happening!
