Hi All,
Grew up around MOPARs. My Dad purchased his first - Chrysler LeBaron stationwagon fully optioned and Dodge Monaco Brougham. When I was 6 or 7 - I fell in love with a white Dodge Challenger from the movie Vanishing Point. Even bought a (still have them) matchbox version of it. Later, fell in love with the Dodge Charger after watching the movie Bullit, Dukes..., and Christine. Always loved the 68 best. Time passed and I moved on.
In the '80s owned everything from a '88 BMW M6, Porsche 911, Porsche 944S2, and even the very rare Audi UrQuattro! Still felt that I was ever hungry for the MOPAR. Sooo, last month I put out an ad in the paper stating I wanted a reasonably priced 68 Charger - one without a lightspeed capability engine or those tuner accessories. A person called - and as a result I became a proud 4th owner of a 68 Charger... Original panel!!! I love it. I have just started cruisin in it. Went to a car show yesterday and met up someone with a lot of knowledge to offer and he recommended this forum to which he too belongs and here I am... Lookin forward to learning lots.
