Hey everyone :) My name is Al and my B-body is a 1972 B-5 on B-5 Coronet with a factory slant 6 auto, 49,000 original miles. It's a base model with no power brake or A/C which is great for what I want to do. I'm looking forward to talking with everyone and getting back into the Mopr scene again. I've been doing the custom van stuff a while and now that my 72 Dodge van is done, I can get back to some Mopar muscle once again. This is my 5th B-body with the 1st 4 being a 1971 charger se, 1972 charger base, 1972 charger se Topper, and a 1973 charger se.

Hi and welcome to the site when you get a chance post up some photos of the coronet ,custom van I thought that faze was in 70`s:blob1:

Thanks Snakeyes. Oh the van thing is going strong. The 41st Nationals was in July at Old Washington, Ohio. DSC00033.jpg

Both are supposed to be B-5 but I think the guy at NAPA screwed up the mix as the Coronets repaint matches but the van is way off. Oh well, what can ya do? I'm happy and don't want to go through repainting again.

Vans seem to be having a bit of a renaissance. Have you seen ebay lately?

If the van is later than 73, it would be KB5, which has a slight aqua tint, versus the Coronet's GB5.

Whoops, didn't read the van is a 72...but still, the letter is important for paint codes...

Welcome from lower PA ! You in the Mopar Capital up there !!:VB toast:

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome here. Thats the van "Battlestar" out of California. The paint was done by Greg Cooper here in central Oh. The paint on my van is supposed to be for 1970. Is there that much difference between 70 and 72? I was just putting the blame on the NAPA guy :icon_lol:

Welcome aboard, "Old Washington" that was only 20 minutes from me. I've been really itching for an old A100 van but will try to fight the urge "to much vehicle to block sand" haha.

Welcome Al I had a custom 76 Dodge Tradesman van Back in the day, sweet rides.

Welcome Al from Syracuse, NY. The former BlueJAckets AHL team.
