Lime Light 70 Bird
Member
50 year old Mopar owner.
My father owned a used car lot in Albany Oregon.
When I was 13 I wanted a car and my dad asked which one I wanted. I told him I wanted the car outback in the blackberries on the back row. I think he was so relieved that I didn't want anything expensive the said...."it's yours".
We had purhcased my Lime Light 70 Roadrunner htp as a repo. he gave $165 for it hanging on the back of a wrecker. I was in heaven!
Even though it wasn't really in street condition at the time youcan imagine a 13 year old with that Beeper!
After much blood, sweat and scraped up knuckes I debued my car at highschool my Sophmore year.
I drove it into the late 90's daily. I have it mothballed back in the corner of my garage now.
Also my wife aquired a metallic blue 70 RR hardtop. 383, tourqueflite, ps/manual drum brakes.
This car is a survivor with ~51,000 actual miles. It could use paint but its turn key and we love it.
