Just purchased a 69 Road Runner in Oct.Original numbers matching car,new paint and vinyl top, original factory A/C that is not working as of now but the plan is to have it blowing cold by next summer.I have been a fan of MOPARS since I was able to drive,I had a 68 Dart as my 1st car,225 with a three on the tree.the plan or should I say dream back then was to get rid of the 225 and install a built 340.Needless to say the bare 340 block was purchased and sat on the engine stand for 10 years, then came marriage and the dart with the 340 block was sold, now 18 years later i finnally got the car I always wanted. Before I bought the Dart my neighbor had a 69 runner with a built 440 in it that I could have bought for $200.00 yes that is two hundred,But my mom said not to buy it because it would use to much gas, good thing I listened to her because that car would probably have been long gone by now.Joined FBBO mainly because of all the great tech stuff here and the members are helpful, not to many mechanical shops around that know how to work on these old cars and I havnt worked on cars for a long time so I will be slow getting back into it and may be some day I can help with some technical advise.Well thats enough for now....Mike
