Hello everyone! I'm new to this site. Hoping I can get some answers to my questions on my new B-Body. I currently have 1971 'cuda and I just purchased a 69 Roadrunner that I am in the process of restoring somewhat back to original. I just pulled the 383 out and dropped it off at the machine shop.. My roadrunner has the "Air grabber" option and I plan on putting back the original air cleaner with the coyote decal on it, now my question is on the intake manifold and carburetor.. I was just planing on putting an edelbrock performer intake and a edelbrock 4 barrel performer and I want to make sure the height and fitment will be ok to use with the original air cleaner?? I really want that on!!!

thanks in advance for your help
I look forward to reading around is forum

welcome to FBBO from NorCal... the regular Edelbrock Performer dual plane alum. 4bbl intake {not the Performer RPM it's considerably taller} & the Edelbrock/Weber carb {not my cup of tea, but it's OK, I'd build an original Carter, before I'd use the Edelbrock carbs ever again} should be really close to the same dimensions/height as the original iron intake & Carter AFB... BUT Not having one on hand, not 100% sure, BUT I would say you should be ok, my old 69 RR with a N96 Air-grabber fresh air package, with an old 383 offy 360* dual plane, I have out on the shelf, with an Edelbrock #1407 {POS} carb fit easily... Good Luck
