Good evening Gentlemen and Women, People call me Sweep. I have a 72 GTX, Road Runner, 440. I have recently started bring the car back to life. In my process I have decided to do some trick stuff to the engine. First off I was putting a set of Brodix Heads on and wouldn't you know it, a problem. I was wanting to put new head bolts in ARP's and when I checked they only offer a stud replacement for the Brodix B1 /BS heads. Anyone else ever hear of this or is it just me ? The studs just make this rougher to remove the heads if ever needed. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Keep on Moparing !!!!

Welcome from Alabama, a 72 RR/GTX is a rare bird. I have no idea on your question, but I'm sure the answers will come.

Welcome to the group from NY.
We have a star "Studded" cast...

studs are far superior to bolts anyway , if you ever have to take it apart , pull the motor.

Sorry , Guys it's in pretty rough shape right now . I got a few of the engine . the car is embarrassing to me right now. I will say you all have give me a reason to start making things happen. will be post some of the modest beginnings here shortly.
The pictures are of a humble beginning. 1971 440 HP block. Came with steel crank, six pack rods. I sent it to one of the better performance shops in Norman ,Oklahoma. I had them Line hone the mains along with the cam supports. The block was decked 0.010. The six pack rods had the beams shaved and smoothed, new rod bolts and rods resized. crank and rods are balanced. I have 10.5 : 1 Wiseco pistons with the lighter chevy wrist pins to loose a little weight. The Broix heads are 67 cc chambered I believe. I talk with my engine builder that built engines for my sprint car back in the day and he thinks it should put out 650 to 675 HP.
The fueling system will be a Holley X-Flow system with the hyper spark distributor.
Thanks for the welcome guys and will updated as I can. If I can help, just drop me a line.
