HELLO,
My name is Dennis and I live in eastern Oregon. I enjoy working on and restoring cars all my life. I just picked up a 1970 Roadrunner and have a few questions. Looks like this is the place to learn.

Welcome. Pictures required.

Welcome. Would like to see pictures as well. I live in Portland, so if you need any parts, let me know.

welcome, and a nice Christmas present to your self!!!. Pics if you got them.

Do I post pictures here--or start a new thread away from the welcome thread

Welcome to the outrageously expensive hobby of restoring old Mopars!!

welcome to fbbo. looks intersting. the paint looks too shiney to have been sitting there too long.

Good eye. The car has been outside here for 10 years. A couple guys here in town painted the car quite some time before that. They are known for being able to sculpt a whole fender just with body filler. That concerns me.
The car is originally yellow. 383 with a 833 4 speed and Dana 60 rear. hood package and air grabber. Interior looks stock.

Interesting, I have a red air grabber switch, yours is black. Is it from a later year?

Welcome Dennis! Nice find. Hate to see a car like that sitting outside. Looking forward to seeing you bring it back to where it should be...

Welcome from Minnesota Dennis....gotta love a yellow 4 speed Roadrunner. :headbang:

SAM_4346.jpgNow I want to determine what I have.
Vin is RM23NOG161xxx = 1970 Ply 2H Roadrunner.
Engine numbers below Dist are E 383 and below that 6 30
engine Cast numbers 2468130 12
All looks good until I look at the number stamp on the passenger side just behind the motor mount. It is 9A306094. Whats that??

Welcome aboard. Looks like a very decent car. What are you thinking of doing with it. Restore, hot rod, restomod?
