I recently inherited a 69 Hemi Roadrunner from my father in law. Orginally a 383 auto car. FIL aquired the car maybe 10 years ago and started collecting orginal Hemi parts. Installed the Hemi maybe 5 years ago. It is stroked and i think 528 cubes, does that sound correct.? Car is all there, runs and drives pretty good, looks better in pictures than in person. I got a few immediate things I want to handle (hoses, valve covers, coil, a couple leaks) I will tear it down and do a complete restoration in the next couple years. First old Mopar I have ever owned. Really a GM guy at heart. My other fun cars are a 77 short bed turbo 5.3 c10, SS 454 Truck, newer SS Camaro convertible and an Audi. No real questions at this time just a hello.

Hi, thanks for sharing your car with us - you get extra points for that around here! :)
:welcome:

Welcome and congratulations on your inheritance.
Drive it and enjoy...you'll be a Mopar convert in just a few (very) quick miles!

Welcome from the Pacific Northwest! Nice looking car.

welcome! beautiful car. Before you tear it down to make it perfect, have some fun with it first!

Welcome from Alabama. Fix those mechanicals, clean it up and enjoy. A full restoration, I would think about for a while. I've been there and done that. It's only worth it if it's a matching numbers original car. I find that other than the joy of the restoration that I don't drive and enjoy them enough in the effort to keep them new. I offer this as an opinion only. It's now your car. Have fun.

sweet ride, but since your a chevy guy I could take that off your hands for you. :thumbsup:

Welcome from Georgia. Very nice car!

American flag on one wall and Texas flag on another.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal - no one admits they’re a “Chevy” guy on this site.... I was shocked.......lol

nice RR

figured you were a GM with a handle like Jrpontiac

cool car you got from the FIL

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Welcome aboard from Ohio, I smell another convert from the “dark side “!

Thanks for all the welcomes. Plan on fixing some stuff and driving for awhile. If it was orginal paint tacky, or was a really nice paint job 20 years ago tacky, id be ok with it. Unfortunately it is 4 different paint jobs without stripping it, topped it off with a $1500 Macco paint job that was done 20 years ago tacky. Im into it for $zero so if i spend $15k restorting it I'll be OK.

welcome to FBBO sweet looking road runner got to love those 69s
