Hi everyone.
New member here. I have visited the site a few times in the past, but I've just got around to joining. I've got a 70 440-6 car that my wife, son and I have spent the last 12 years restoring in our home shop. My dad and I bought it out of Colorado in 1989 to be a retirement project for he and I, when he retired. Unfortunately, he got ill shortly after retiring, and passed away. He was able to work on it a little with me, but never got to see it run. We had to put it in storage for many years until we were in a position to take it on. In our own home with a shop we built, we've been able to finish and start enjoying the car, and what a feeling it is to drive it. It's been an important connection to my best friend and father,as well as a great family project. Thanks for having me. Darren
