Evening folks! Been browsing the site for about a week now and then decided to join. I'm a C-body guy, but had a revelation of sorts (okay, a crazy dream that has now turned into car hoarding) to build/own at least 1 Mopar from each of the body lines. My family thinks I'm crazy, my friends don't understand, and the better half is pretty upset she's about to lose her spot in the driveway and will probably never be able to park in the garage again. Gotta love it.
I started my mopar journey back in 1994 when I bought my grandfather's Chrysler New Yorker for $1 and the parts to get it running. I used it through the rest of HS and parts of college (hey, gas was still .89 cents a gallon) and then put it up at my parents house for a couple of years. Well a couple became 8 and I dug the old gal out of the mud and started working on it again. Still working on it, but it's got a fresh 440 and 727, brakes, suspension some wiring, and some body work. Recently picked it up again and am keeping the ball rolling with another project to keep my mind off "work". Looking forward to it folks.
