Hello everyone! I’ve been reading these forums for awhile and finally decided to join. I’m a lifelong Mopar muscle addict thanks to my dad. Mopar was our only hobby that we shared. While most kids were playing sports, hunting, fishing, etc, I was under the hood of a 71 duster, 68 Roadrunner, or 68 Charger. After a drunk driver nearly killed me and my dad on my 10th birthday in the duster, we got out of the muscle cars for almost 30 years. After mom passed in 2017, dad and I decided it was time to get back into it. We had a friend with a 67 Plymouth Belvedere II he bought midway into a full drag car conversion. After being offered a deal we couldn’t pass up it became ours in 2020. The interior is nearly perfect, the chassis is reinforced, and it had a 512 RB stroker. The motor was a bit high strung for the street so we pulled it and sent it to a guy in Baton Rouge. Unfortunately that was a mistake as the guy was pretty careless. Long story short we had to use a different 440hp block stroked to a 500. We are still sorting it out trying to figure out exactly what all the builder did but I think I have most of it figured out. The 6 barrel fuel system was a nightmare but I think I’ve finally got it performing well. Anyway, thanks for having me on the forums and for any input I’m sure to need!
