Hey everyone! My name is Mike and i look forward to getting info and help on this site with my new ride. It is a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury. Believe it or not, since i was a little kid going to the races with my dad i have always wanted a 64 Plymouth Sport Fury. One of my three all time favorite muscle cars.

I am a Mopar faithful and have had a few in my relatively short life. It all started with my dad's 1968 Dodge Charger R/T with a 440. He bought it brand new in 1967. He sold it in 2001 after having a heart attack. That car was going to be given to me one day but things change. It was very clean and very original. He passed away last year from lung cancer and some other bad stuff happened in my life as well in the past year. Needless to say I have two kids both boys and i want them to have the memories with me that i had with my dad growing up and now that i am a single dad, I have lots of time to teach them how to wrench on a car.

Here are a few pics of my new car i just picked up saturday. I had a 67 plymouth belvedere post sedan when i was 16 and had it until 21 when i got engaged and had to sell it. I learned my lesson. No woman is worth a car! She is gone and now I have one of my favorite cars ever. Sorry for the long intro.:tongueflap:

Welcome to FBBO Mike! Are you going to be out at Woodley Park this weekend for the show?
I will be there on saturday for sure. I am missing a few parts on the fury i would like to find. Hope to have some luck there and also enjoy the nice cars. My car is not ready to roll with the big boys but maybe in the next 2-3 yrs i can have it ready to show. I am looking forward to the restoration process.

Welcome. Sorry about your dad, but at least you have fond memories

What he said. I spent the first 35 years of my life in the Riverside, CA area. Had many a fine Mopar out there. Love the 63/64 Polaras and Fury's. Looks like you got a great start there.

Yeah I will be there on Saturday. It looks better in pics but is decent. Rusty floor pan will be the first thing I fix.

Beautiful Car!

Welcome, Sorry to hear about your Dad. I feel your pain as i lost mine a couple years back from a stroke. He never got to see my Charger finished, i took too long. If it wasn`t for my daughter, my car would have likely been still sitting in the back corner of the barn.
Nice ride you`ve got in that 64!

Ah, ditch the witch, keep the wheels.......My condolences about your father. Nice to see his memory living on through the cars you drive....Priceless. Kudo's on passing down the tradition..
