I have a 69 Roadrunner I am restoring and was wondering if I can put 10in magnum wheels under her ? Not to far off from ordering wheels and I think it would look good filling out the fender wells with tire . Any help would be appreciated ....Thanks . Scott

Hi 1baddog, welcome:wav:

A 10" wheel will fit, just watch the offset to make sure the rim is centered between the frame rail and outer lip. Don't put much more than 10" of tire on it though, 12" will be rubbing.

Now, how about a picture of your car? :)

Thanks , I appreciate the feedback . Very helpful . Im gonna love this site ! , will get pics up soon as possible .. thanks

Hey, Howyadoin? Welcome.

Welcome to the site! I have 15x10 magnum wheels with 5.5" backspacing on my '69 with 295/50/15 tires. It's very tight, I get some minor rubbing in the top of the fender well in hard corners and had to trim a small amount of the inside lip off on the passenger side. I also have a hotchkis suspension setup on it which has it slightly lower than stock. Prior to that I had air shocks in the back and had no problems at all. So I would say they'll fit as long as you aren't planning to lower it significantly.

I was thinking about 275 /60/15s . but wasn't sure if they would work. Where's the best place to order those Magnums from ? Ya'll have helped a lot !!

If you're going with 275's I'd probably use an 8 inch wheel instead of 10, you'll get different opinions on that though. I got mine from summit, they're Wheel Vintiques and I'm happy with them. I've heard other people complain that they rust too easily but I try to keep mine dry and clean them often and I haven't had any problems.

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

with the right backspacing {5.5" BS IIRC} should work fine,
in the rear, not in the front

Thanks to all . the info is helping me alot ! Not a fan of these wheels , especially compared to the magnums ! 20150713_161952_0.jpg

Alabama car , been in the state since new so im glad of that , only replacing floor pans , light rust and got new bumpers ordered and gonna be in all primer for awhile , looking foward to enjoying this 4 speed car . Dad had one when i was a kid , bought it off the showroom and hated to see him sell it and swore i would have one , just wish he was still around to help build it with me . After hours of reading the forums its opened my eyes and made me wanna push to finish her . Thankful for all advice , as this is my first mopar build .
