Hello eveyone, new member here. My son and I are working with a mechanic to get our 1971 dodge charger SE back on the road. We are working to have a 440 rebuilt and hope we can get some help and contribute to others here. Learning a lot but long way to go. Look forward to the forum.

Welcome to the forum!

Sounds great that you have a father/son project! We'd love to hear more about your Charger and even see a few pictures!

Welcome from Minnesota....good luck and post pics if you can. :headbang:

Welcome to the site, would love to see some pictures I'm a big 71-74 charger fan I have 2 now ,any ?'s you may have feel free to ask .
Good luck on your project

Welcome to FBBO

good luck with the 71 Charger

Thanks everyone. The charger is at the mechanic's garage with engine out so can't take any pictures as it is not in our city. We were hoping to have the engine rebuilt but the piston set my son bought years ago had one piston at 60 over instead of 30 over. Go figure. We are going to upgrade to get better compression, so the build can continue. Will get some photos and post. Thanks for the warm welcome,
